Blue safety syringes are simple to use, the needles are automatically retracted while still in the patient. This reduces the risks of injury from blood-borne infections and prevents the reuse of the syringe. The needles are sharp and non-coring and the range provides a low-cost solution to prevent all accidental needle stick injuries.

Blue safety syringes can be used one handed and require no additional training for staff. The retraction of the needle is automatic following the click. The fluid is drawn up, the patient is injected, as the injection finishes the syringe clicks and the needle is withdrawn into the hollow plunger and then can be safely discarded.
